Welcome to my first ever post to a blog. I work in an office where the only windows that I can see through lead to different offices. Someone just happened to pull up the blinds and peek through. Embarrassing. I will tell you what else was embarrassing. I was at a training meeting at a Radisson Hotel. It was a decent place except for the shiny walls. These shiny walls happened to be located in the bathroom along the back part of the stalls. Needless to say it was like looking in a mirror at the guy next you. You look over and see some guy mooning the wall. Crazy.
I am also going to school and my wife is graduated and is currently teaching 6th grade. We are expecting our first child in August of this year and are very excited about that. I am nervous as I suddenly become responsible for such a small person. What if I teach "it" wrong. I use it because we don't know the gender yet.
I am posting this blog because currently at work things are a little slow. My job has become a source of great pain and anguish. Solid words. I work in the basement and consider my office to be the equivalent of "hell" for me. There is no air conditioning and even in the winter it is 80 degrees or more in the office. Hell is hot and I am hot. I have a tedious job that requires a lot of attention to make sure it is done right otherwise bad things happen. People show their true colors if I mess up. Hell is hot and I bet some of the punishment will be having to do the same thing day after day. Each day rolls into each other until I begin to forget what day of the month and what day of the week it is. That is my job in a nutshell.
Anyway, please enjoy this brief overview of my current situation. As I get more comfortable I will post things that give a better idea of what I think.
